From the Book of Matthew 21:1-11
"The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them. They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on. A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,
“Hosanna!"
These youngsters were in my Sunday School class where they made headbands with donkey ears to remind them of today's Bible story. After class we gathered with the adults to go into church waving our palm branches.
How wonderful to have the opportunity to instruct these young ones and teach them the true meaning of Easter. They have such sweet faces and radiate happiness!
Your shot reminds me of when my daughters went to Sunday School :)
