For the 39th year the Greek community of Richmond sponsored their annual festival at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral. This year the weather was perfect every day, and the crowds you see here attest to the popularity of this delightful event. Traditional dancing, tours of the sanctuary, and an agora at which you can purchase Greek merchandise all add to the fun, but let's face it, the crowds come for the food! Being kitchen-less was all the excuse I needed to head over to the festival on Sunday afternoon. To see the menu choices, follow this link: http://tinyurl.com/l5fml2s What a feast! What makes it even better is the fact that each day of the festival the organization highlights a different charity to support with the profits from their hard work.
Looks like a really fun outdoor event. I have always wanted to go to the one here in Stroudsburg- but it seems like every year we are away!! Nice collage.
