This class is about to embark on a scavenger hunt of the library. Each group of 3 or 4 kids starts out with a map of the library, an iPad with a QR code app and one printed clue. When they figure out the location of the first clue, they are directed to the first of the QR codes displayed around the various sections of the library. They then use the code reader app on the iPad to bring up the next clue. In this way they work their way through 12 clues around the library. The 3 main reasons I created this scavenger hunt were to use a new technology, explore the library and use teamwork. I am pleased to report that every team was successful in meeting all three goals. And they had fun doing it.
