From the conference blog:
"Collegiate School believes that global education goes beyond foreign language classes and international travel. Developing students into effective, visionary leaders will be accomplished by instilling a global perspective and understanding of the economic, political, environmental, religious and cultural issues that are reshaping our world.
The International Emerging Leaders Conference is a unique opportunity for students from around the world to engage in debate, discussion, and collaboration on our campus in Richmond,
Virginia."
This year 13 schools from twelve nations spent a week in Richmond, sharing ideas and national problems and creating potential solutions. Today's collage is made up of portraits of some of the visitors at the Cultural Fair held in the Lower School. Other countries represented include India, Spain, Mexico, Malaysia, Tajikistan and Italy. The forty students are wonderful ambassadors for their countries.
