At the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the 12th Fine Arts & Flowers exhibit features floral interpretations of masterpieces from the permanent collection, presented by members of The Garden Club of Virginia, the Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs, and Garden Clubs of Virginia.
This show lasts only from Wednesday to Sunday of this week, due to the short life span of the floral arrangements, but what a treat while they are on display. The fun thing is that the 75 or more pairings are spread throughout all three levels of the museum and are located in many different galleries. Discovering them is a delightful scavenger hunt.
That is so creative and clever! Do they get judged? That would be a hard one to decide I think! There are some really good ones in your collage! I'm with Ana though- I like the ballet flowers the best (although the lemons are coming in at a very close second!)
