While out walking on this beautiful holiday, I was startled to see a couple of robins posing on a winter lawn. Then, as if to confirm that Spring really was on its way, I saw a bed of some kind of bulbs poking through the soil. I'm not sure if the robins never left or had made an early arrival. American robins eats insects and worms so I hope they can find enough to eat over the next two winter months.
