Few people are familiar with the Biblical figure Nehemiah, and yet he was instrumental in the rebuilding and reestablishment of Jerusalem in the fifth century B.C. following the Babylonian exile. Our Bible story this morning told of Nehemiah repairing and rebuilding the wall that surrounded the city of Jerusalem. We built our own wall and then posed to display our handiwork.
When you involve children in an activity that relates to a story, they're sure to remember it...but of course, that's the point! Your photo of their proud handiwork is adorable!
