The whole region was under a winter storm watch and all the schools decided discretion was the better part of valor. Thus we had a snow day with lots of rain but no snow. After lunch the temperature dropped and we began to get pelted with sleet. Finally by late afternoon the sleet turned into a bit of snow. The public schools have already decided to cancel classes for tomorrow. Collegiate didn't have to make that call since we are officially on Spring Break! Can we all pause and chuckle?
