Tonight John and I had something to celebrate. We made our last mortgage payment! So we went to one of our favorite restaurants -- Strawberry Street Cafe, famous for its bathtub salad bar. Our enthusiasm is never entirely unbridled, however. We went on Monday when burgers are $5, and we used a coupon which I bought for $10 and was worth $20. That enabled us to splurge on a serving of chocolate truffle cake a la mode which we split with great pleasure.
