Graduation 2015

Today Lower School graduation was held. For the last time our retiring school head, Dr. Hunter, awarded certificates to 120 eager 4th graders. This was a wonderful group of kids, and I know we will all miss them. Can't wait to see what life holds for them.
BTW, the time shown on the scoreboard is actually the year they graduate from Upper School!
Awesome collage

So these children graduate from 4th grade...do they stay in this community? Is there one school they move to that goes up to 12th grade? What a lovely occasion to see them all seated there!

@Weezilou Our school is K-12 so they move on "across the bridge" to Middle School and then Upper School. The majority of students are together for 13 years. This creates a strong family environment and a very strong alumni association.

@allie912 Once again, I can see that you're a part of an exceptional school community! Don't you wish more were like that?! Just wonderful!

I always thought your school is special. the idea for the children to start out in kindergarten and staying throughout the grades including grade 12 is so awesome. many a life long friendship will've been formed by then. I noticed this at my granddaughter's bridal shower. there were a lot of school friends from her early years, like going back to grade 3.
