i know that feeling now.
holding onto the baby as long as you can to remember each little finger and toe. he is really sweet. glad you got to go back. how far is it to go and see him?

@glendq According to my husband, 613 miles. It's only an hour and 10 minutes by direct flight. Of course the real problem is scheduling. Once school starts in a few weeks, it is much more difficult to arrange a visit. Plus traveling north to Boston in the winter is not something I want to do!

if we drive to seattle ( 6 hours or so) then catch a flight it is 1 hour and 20 minutes to the closest airport to our daughter's home.

It's closer than Texas! But I know how you feel! Looks like you haven't lost your touch in the "rock the baby to sleep" dept. either. Nice collage!
