First Graders have been rehearsing a musical version of the children's classic, Make Way for Ducklings. Today was the dress rehearsal. The setting was changed so that Mr. and Mrs. Duckling are trying to find a home for their family in Richmond instead of Boston. They hit the high points in our city, including the baseball field, the art museum, our school, the 4 star Jefferson Hotel and the Krispie Kreme doughnut shop! They finally settle at Maymont Park where they make a "Nest Sweet Nest" and wait for their babies to hatch. What a fine production, displaying singing and dancing from one and all.Tomorrow they will shine for their parents.
