There we were at 7:30 am, walking the trail at Sweetwater Branch Park. The early start, of course, was to avoid Florida's notorious heat and humidity. We managed to see an alligator at rest, lots of birds and flowers, and beautiful scenery. And all before Maddie needed to be dropped off at camp.
