"As a prelude to next week’s presidential inauguration, a demonstration in support of social justice was planned for Saturday on Monument Avenue.
The eight-block March on Monument began at 1 p.m. at the Lee statue at Monument and North Allen avenues proceeded to the Boulevard.
Organizers hoped the demonstration would give people who can’t take part in the Jan. 21 March on Washington a chance to take a stand for equal rights, the environment, and programs supporting children and the elderly."
Lots of positive energy and high spirits. Cold temperatures didn't cool off the crowd.
