This is a picture that gets better the longer you study it. The leader of this group is the son of a First Grade teacher. Because his school is having Conference Day, Thomas is visiting for the day. He has found a ready-made fan club of kindergartners on the playground. They followed his every move with whoops of excitement. I barely managed to stop them for a moment to grab this shot. When I looked later, I laughed with delight at the photobomb, and I just found another boy crouched down low, anxious to be part of the group.
