The time: Just before dismissal on Friday afternoon
The participants: The junior kindergartners and their teacher
The activity: Launching nerf rockets high overhead.
The occasion: Celebrating their week-long study of the letter R.
Each child got to set a rocket off by stepping on something. (I'm not sure what; I was busy trying to capture the excitement!)
