Jazz at Preservation Hall

My colleague Susan said this was not to be missed and she was right. Dinner at Nola's, followed by the 9 o'clock show at this unpretentious venue where we were lucky enough to find places on a bench. Only 100 can fit in for a show. We missed the cut for the 8 o'clock show, so waited in line people watching til 9. They played all the traditional favorites, ending with The Saints Go Marching In. Three of the number (out of 6) posed for me. Well actually 2 posed, one was on his phone. As we walked back to the hotel, we heard music on almost every street corner. Our feet were dancing!
Fantastic photo Alison! Love the colours & atmosphere that oozes from this picture! Must have been a fab night!

This is so cool, Allison. Seems like such a classic shot. Sounds like a great visit to New Orleans.
