Me and My Memories

I got John to take this picture of me wearing a new sweater so I could post it on a special interest group on FaceBook. You can’t quite see the sampler in the picture so I have added it in more,detail. The sampler was made for me many years ago by John’s sister. She was my college friend who fixed us up on our first date. Two years ago she died and the poem on this sampler took on added meaning.

Nice photo of you! What a special sampler and memory. My sister-in-law (the one who lives in Richmond) and I were talking tonight about the things we treasure the most, which are the things people made for us.
