Two Kindergarten classes held a shoe drive in the Lower School and collected gently used, outgrown shoes as a combination economic and service project. They learned the ins and outs of pricing, marketing and selling shoes. In addition, they plan to give the money raised to an organization for foster children for them to get new shoes. The temporary shoe store was held this morning and will have hours again tomorrow. The customers were parents and grandparents and the prices were real bargains at $1 or $2 (except for boots which were more.) Today's total was $361 with more expected tomorrow -- a good total for a good cause!
