By observing the 40 days of Lent, Christians replicate Jesus Christ's sacrifice and withdrawal into the desert for 40 days.This morning our pastor encouraged the congregation to record our concerns as we consider our time in the wilderness.
What a great novel way for some contemplation. I'm sure our concerns would overflow the Pastor's bowl. Also interesting the way people have folded their paper in different ways.
