Fourth Grade opened their classrooms to parents and other visitors to share the results of their research about the Fight for Civil Rights through our nation’s history. These stories of the struggle of women’s rights, Native American leaders, high points of the civil rights movement and early leaders in the making of America were told through paintings, sculpture, dioramas, and digital storytelling. I wish I could have included all my pictures. We have some really creative students who presented their findings with enthusiasm and understanding.
