Whenever I donate to a charity or nonprofit, I get an acknowledgement of the gift, but this response really touched me. Cristo Rey is a college prep school, serving low income students. I have been volunteering there since I retired although visitors were not allowed during the pandemic. To stay connected, I sent a monetary donation, and today this handwritten card arrived. What a great way to make the students come to life for us.
