I went to Kroger’s on Saturday because I was out of a few things and saw they had rotisserie chicken hot off the grill, 2 for $10. What a deal. When I got home I sliced off the white meat for sandwiches, pulled the rest of the chicken off the bones for casseroles and finally threw the bones in a pot with an onion, celery, carrots and seasoning. After it had cooked for several hours I strained the broth, added some of the chicken plus a cup of orzo and had a great pot of soup.
