I was privileged to attend the last musical program in Richmond featuring the Violins of Hope, instruments restored from the Holocaust. It was a far ranging concert of both modern and classical pieces. The program was sold out. The exhibition was jointly sponsored by three institutions — the Virginia Museum of History and Culture, The Holocaust Museum and The Black History Museum. The 60+ instrument collection continues its tour to Los Angeles, NYC and several other cities. Check out the website violinsofhope.org
