During the Children’s Message on Sunday, and in preparation for America’s Independence Day, the topic was freedom. Some of the kiddos (and one enthusiastic adult) wiggled into big cloth bags to demonstrate how your freedom can be restricted. Then the discussion leader pointed out that exercising our freedom should never be at the expense of others, but instead should be used in service to others.
