So much to see and do at the 40th annual Watermelon Festival, much of it celebrating summer’s coolest fruit. The weather was perfect for an outdoor celebration and everyone was looking forward to this day. There were expected to be 140,000 visitors twice the number that attended last year coming out of COVID.
