Another grande dame leaves us at age 96. For those of you unsure of the presence of the tea pot in this tribute, that is Mrs. Potts, from the animated Disney film, Beauty and the Beast (1991), a character Angela Lansbury brought to life beautifully. You might even remember her singing, “Be Our Guest.”
She was an amazing actress- so versatile and talented. I was a huge fan of Murder She Wrote which may not have been as spectacular as some of her musicals but it was a lot of fun. And you're right, she really did bring Mrs. Potts to life.
