I went to a craft market this afternoon in the parking lot of the International Mission Board. There were products from North Africa, Columbia, Turkey as well as some created by Indigenous People in North America. There were also local artists displaying their creations. In almost every case, the merchant was a girl or young woman. I got an amazing sales pitch about sandals made in Turkey from a ten year old!
