From the current exhibit on the guitar in American art. Along with paintings depicting guitars, there are many instruments that are works of art. Here is a Fender guitar that has been enhanced by lush wallpaper. On the other end of the spectrum are guitars from Montgomery Ward and Sears from the 1930s that evoke the singing cowboys that were very popular in movies of the day.
