Today at the end of business, Lafayette Pharmacy closed its doors for the last time. For more than 70 years It provided so much for so many in the community. Mel, the pharmacist-owner is retiring after a long career, and his employees will be scattered to other pharmacies. Goodbye, Friends, especially Pat who suffered a heart attack last Wednesday, but has managed to hang on and rally. We are all pulling for you, Pat.
