Westminster Presbyterian Church shares its facility with All Nations Presbyterian Fellowship. The first Sunday of the month the two congregations join together for worship in the Sanctuary. This week we switched things up and met in the Fellowship Hall, where All Nations usually worship. The experience was transformative! I think in the past some of the All Nations congregants were reluctant to move to our space which kept the service from being balanced. The WPC folks didn’t have the same issue, and we joined our sister congregation with enthusiasm. Their prayer and singing style is definitely less inhibited than that of the mainline Presbyterian church. Lots of heartfelt “Amens” and lifting up our voices. It was a great experience for us all.
