Have you heard the expression " a child's play is his work"? Well, here the saying is clearly illustrated. The men with the wheelbarrows were hired for a project which involved transporting dirt to a backyard. The kids were all doing their part to help. What I didn't photograph was the man first putting a shovelful of dirt in the little girl's wheelbarrow before she pushed it up the ramp. They were all taking their responsibilities very seriously and I'm sure the finished product will give them all a sense of accomplishment.
This is so precious. I love how little children want to imitate what the adults in their world are doing. The little girl is all dressed up in her lovely blue striped dress and matching socks for her "work-day".
