Silhouettes in the Sun

This is the iconic outline of the Smithsonian Castle on the National Mall in Washington DC. It was the first Smithsonian building, designed in 1847 by the architect who designed St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City. It now houses all the administrative offices of the Smithsonian and the main visitors' center.
