You Lookin' at Me?

Meet Simon, a blue tick hound and great watch dog. He was sleeping soundly in his back yard when I attempted to take his picture. I barely made a sound and he was wide awake and on the job. Fortunately his human came out to see what all the barking was for and invited me in the yard. Simon was not convinced that was such a good idea but his innate good manners prevailed and we had a pleasant visit, including a few photos.

Allison, blood hounds have such sad eyes (I don't know why, but they never look happy dogs).
