I am the queen of coupons. I got a postcard with a coupon for a free pizza, from a restaurant with a wood-burning pizza oven. This shot of the wood stacked up next to the oven looked like a cubist poster so I gave it a light treatment with Picnik's posterize effect.
@gabssweetie Excellent. The classic Margherita with fresh tomatoes, basil and mozzarella cheese with a thin supple crust. We'll be back even if we have to pay!
It's very abstract indeed Allison, love the post processing. Would it work if you cropped the wall out concentrating on only the wood ? Possibly ! Would it work in B/W too? Possibly ! Good work Allison :)
@phil_howcroft I thought about cropping out the brick but I decided I wanted the contrast in texture and color. (same reason for not going B&W) I appreciate your thoughtful comments. They do make me think about the process of designing a composition.
