This little bird was found outside the library this morning, apparently a victim of the glass doors. He was beautiful, even in death, and i took him up to my colleague, Ellen, a science teacher, for identification. She pulled out 3 pictures - a Hooded Warbler, a Goldfinch and a Common Yellow Throat to match and identify. It was readily evident which it was. What do you think?
Awww poor Yellow Throat )o: It's sad when any bird flies into a glass door. I knew it wasn't the Goldfinch before I read your lesson. My first thougt was that it was a warbler, but the pictures seem to seal the deal. What a great lesson! It sort of redeems his untimely death. Great collage too.
