Chocolate in History

My friend Dana gave me a feast of chocolate for my birthday. Then, when I was putting out the "Today in History" for tomorrow, I saw that Sept. 13 is the birthday of Milton Hershey. I got out a new biography of the chocolate manufacturer that we just got in the library and arranged this display. None of the chocolate bars are actually Hersey chocolate, but I thought it was close enough to work.
Poor Mr. Hershey's factory is flooded right now! But what a nice way to commemorate the man who has put thousands of pounds on chocolate lovers all over the US! Not that we mind...or will stop eating it either! Nice shot.

Well Allison, I did not realize the 13th was Milton's birthday. thanks for the information, and enjoy your chocolate. Now that the factory is down due to the flood, I hope they do not decide to raise the price like they do everything else whn a crisis hits :(.
