Another stop on my Nature walk. I noticed this gate was ajar so I took a chance and stepped inside to try to get a close up of the ivy growing along the threshold. Imagine my surprise when I saw this canine sentry. I immediately changed the focus of my picture to the guardian himself, but i thought I'd better not press my luck and quickly left.
Looks cute, and you are lucky it wasn't one of those animated statues that respond to motion. LOL, I think you would have, well, you know what I mean LOL.
