Cactus, Chapter 2

you might be as astonished as I was to see how quickly those appendages grow. To be honest, the original picture was taken April 6, so you see what a week in the sun has done.

This is what I love about cacti. They look the same week in and week out and then suddenly they burst forth! This is a fascinating plant.
