The kids were all on the playground, their lunch boxes abandoned til the bell rings to call students back to class. There was something eerie about all these colorful cases tossed down and not a soul in sight.
I'll be seeing sights like this next week, except it will be backpacks thrown all over the playground! Our kids get free lunches because of our population, so you never see lunch boxes. Everything looks so nice and back-to-school new!
I see a similar sight every day at my school! I'm impressed if the children have already eaten. At my school there would be open boxes and left overs/rubbish here and there.
