One of the few things I could do today was work on the thank you notes we send to students who have purchased books for the library on Parents Night. My colleague and i write personal notes for all 512 books and 12 magazine subscriptions donated this year. It seems rather daunting at first but if you tackle it methodically, class by class, we can finish in a month and the kids really appreciate getting personal mail.
That is great that you take the time to give the personal touch to this. In the day and age of e-mails and texting a real letter is certainly nice to recieve
