Here is something you might not expect to see in a big city convention center -- a whole row of porch rockers. Maybe it was to remind us that although Richmond is the capitol of the Commonwealth of Virginia, it is not too far from its roots in the Old South.
Which reminds me, did you know that of the 50 states of America, there are 4 that are more correctly called Commonwealths? Virginia is one. Can you name the others? No fair Googling!
I also meant to say that I think it's so cool that they have these chairs in the convention center. I'm afraid I'd get too comfortable, though, and fall asleep!
