Extra Yarn

I'm so glad I had a long sunny walk yesterday because Easter Sunday was a wash out. This example of yarn bombing was made even cuter by the heart image atop the pole. The inspiration for this photo's title is a children's picture book by author Mac Barnett. Mac is spending the day at Collegiate on Wednesday, giving presentations and visiting classes. The book Extra Yarn tells of a little girl who found a magical box with an unending supply of yarn. She is able to knit sweaters, hats and covers for everyone and everything around her.
