This crow appeared under the covered walkway outside the library. He was there to vacuum any crumbs left by children after their morning snack. In the shade it was difficult to see the details of this jet black beauty. Even so, l liked his determination as he resolutely moved from table to sidewalk and back again until he had sucked up every scrap left behind.
Love the collage. I just read part of a book loaned to me by my neighbor called "Gifts of the Crows". I wasn't able to finish it because she had to return it to the library but I plan to borrow it myself and finish it. Fascinating and incredibly intelligent birds.
