This year the last week of Sunday School came on Pentecost. (There will be an all-ages program for children during the summer but with different teachers) The color of Pentecost as you can clearly see in the hangings and the pastor's stole is red. This morning we invited children to attend the traditional worship at 11 am rather than the contemporary service at 9 am, and each child was awarded a certificate for completing his or her class. Unfortunately from where I was sitting, I was not able to get all the kids in this picture but I do like the variety of reactions from those I did manage to capture.
