Oxford is known as the "city of dreaming spires", a term coined by poet Matthew Arnold. I took so many wonderful pictures today, but since I can only choose one, I think this is a great introduction to the beauty of Oxford. We were blessed with perfect weather-- sunshine and a light breeze. This afternoon we met our teachers and got their perspective on the week's activities. We had a lovely walking tour of the city and a great dinner. Now most of the others have gone to a nearby pub for some local atmosphere. Since I haven't really slept since 6 AM Saturday, I am hoping to get my internal clock in tune and call it a night. Lots more planned for tomorrow!
