Unrequited Love, Part II

Remember my colleague with the suitor she couldn't discourage? Well, he continues to press his suit with a parade of floral arrangements, each lovelier than the one before. When she fled school on Friday, there were two tributes in her office and one more arrived after she left. She invited anyone who wanted to take one home. I placed this arrangement carefully in a recycling wastebasket so nothing would shift in the car, and it is brightening up my dining table. I'm sure I am getting more pleasure from this gift than she would.
Beautiful flowers

Please have her start documenting things in case she has to do a restraining order for this person. She also should alternate her daily routine and pick up some mace, if you think it is getting to that point. Now about the shot, very beautiful arrangement

Well, they certainly are lovely and am glad you are enjoying him. Missed the story before. Does she know who he is or is he one of these "secret pal" types?

@sarasdadandmom @cimes1 she met him at a resort where she was weekending with her parents and siblings. He actually lives several hours away. Apparently he is quite nice, but for my friend there was just no chemistry. I guess he thinks an abundance of flowers will change the chemical equation!

@allie912 He sounds harmless enough. Some just never give up though, and it's probably time he should :-) In the meantime, enjoy her cast-off flowers.

@allie912 thank you, I am not near as worried. Sorry the job came out in me for a second. Hopefully he is just persistent.

What an unusual story! I love cut flowers in the house!

That is a very expensive pursuit! But a bonus for her co-workers at least. I guess she needs to have an intermediary contact him and tell him to stop, otherwise this could go on forever. Pretty shot though.

Lovely --but I;d worry about the Smitten Swain -- sounds like the title of a scary Sherlock Holmes story!
