Many Hands Make Light Work

Our library circulates between 5,000 and 6,000 books a month. It takes a dedicated group of volunteers to get those books back on the shelves once the kids have returned them. Here are a few of our newest volunteers taking part in a library training session. On the right you can see how seriously they take their responsibility. These carts are bursting each week, and this afternoon, as I left School for the weekend they were almost totally empty--ready for the next week's returns. We are so lucky that Collegiate parents, most of whom also work full time, are willing to fit in an hour or two once a month to support our library program.
It's great that the parents take part in a number of things to keep your school up and running. They did a great job clearing those carts!
