Meg tells me it is not unusual for the fog to suddenly roll in from the ocean. That's what happened this afternoon, but within the hour it burned off and we returned to beautiful New England weather.
We were once out on Cape Cod and in a matter of minutes the fog rolled in off the ocean, erased pretty much everything within 3 feet of us and left just as quickly. Glad to hear it didn't stick around for you either.
