Nasturtium by allie912

Nasturtium

Here's a flower you don't see too often. I like all the different curving lines. Here is an interesting bit of Wikipedia trivia: "These plants are related to garden cress and mustard, noteworthy for a peppery, tangy (pungent) flavor. The name Nasturtium comes from the Latin nasus tortus, meaning "twisted nose", in reference to the effect on the nasal passages of eating the plants."
Very pretty

Nasturtium are so beautiful. I've seen some foods decorated with the flowers; they're also edible as well.

I love nasturtium. Did you give them a taste?

Hmm... I wonder if that means they clear your breathing passages? The flower is very pretty but now I'm really curious about it's "medicinal" qualities.

Nice round leaves, almost reminds me of the lotus leaves
